There’s a huge range of native plants that can be easily integrated into a garden. Here we’ve gathered together, by category, a selection of fine examples from our part of the world. When you grow them you’re showcasing the beauty and richness of our flora and thus contributing to a greater awareness of it. You’re also offering food, shelter and breeding ground to pollinators, butterflies, birds and other representatives of our native fauna that you’ll enjoy observing right there at home.

Do not gather native plants from their natural environment. Instead, buy plants produced at nurseries.
